June came quickly it was time to take the next big step. We had saved a little money and it was time to order our equipment and apply for our DA from council.
We found a local supplier that was ordering cheap ( in every sense of the word), equipment from China. It was cheap but it would do the job. So in 8 weeks we would have our equipment.
Council was never going to be easy but they were positive which is a big start. I made the decision not to submit my application officially until there was a general consensus from council that it would be acceptable. 3 short months later... They felt it would most likely be OK.
This Saturday, May 19th, we will officially be opening our brewery!! Our kitchen will be producing some scrumptious food, all 24 taps on our shiny new draft system will be pouring a multitude of beers and ciders and the sun will be shining down on us (hopefully). We hope you can come down and join for what is to be a memorable day, and just the first of many more to come as TRBC steps on down the road we began on so long ago. With that aside lets have a small rundown of our story so far:
As many of you may know we're always hard at work putting in upgrades down at the brewery. We’ve also got another big one on the way so we thought we’d fill you in on all the hard work that has been going on behind the scenes.
Noticed anything different recently? Yea, we didn’t think we’d fool you that easily! We’ve gone and gotten ourselves a new website.
What’s the difference? Well, it’s rather swanky for one! Everything is still pretty much the same behind the makeover, however, one major difference is that we now have a new online shop available for you to use, and it’s live right now!
