We are bringing together an incredible line-up of international performers, award-winning artists and world-class entertainers for one unforgettable night. Expect glamour, comedy, circus skills, show-stopping burlesque and plenty of surprises as Diesel Darling, Jess Love Jazida and Yvette Santos take to the stage in the Brewery Shed.

Diesel Darling is a force to be reckoned with, its no wonder her rise to stardom has been fast and furious. Affectionately known as the Danger Barbie, this full tank of gas fuses the classic with the unimaginably dangerous and yet she still manages to squeeze in a few laughs.

Years of dance and theatre training combined with her love of champagne results in one beautifully bubbly showgirl. However this little Darling has a wild side (and an irrationally lacking sense of danger) resulting in an electrifying range of performance styles and skillsets.

Known for high kicking to the heavens, splitting every which way possible, sparks grinding off her chest, swimming in giant glasses of champagne and draping herself in serpents, Diesel is sure to get your motor running and your engine purring.

This smooth ride has been crowned Miss Burlesque Australia, and Miss Burlesque Sydney, and is the co producer of rock n' roll Burlesque show Wanted and Wild. She's performed in Las Vegas and Vienna. So strap yourself in for one fuel injected show as you ride shotgun with Diesel Darling.

Jess Love is an internationally renowned circus warhorse, theatre maker, trouble shooter, award-winning director and all-round rat bag. With over 20 years of touring the worlds theatres and festivals Love  is back in Meanjin. They’ve won a myriad of awards in both theatre and circus- not least an Olivier Award with La Soiree. They’ve performed for royalty, both literally and musically, including Prince Harry, Elton John, Rhianna and Andrew Lloyd-Webber. They held the Australian title in 2023 and 2024 for Olympic weightlifting but their most recent achievement is surviving a 4-year hiatus from life due to ME/CFS.  Love is beyond excited to be back on the stage, where they belong.

Yvette Santos is an international burlesque performer originally from Los Angeles, California, now based in Sydney, Australia. Known for her captivating fusion of Latin rhythm and classic burlesque glamour, she brings the heat, heart, and elegance of the golden showgirl era to modern stages around the world.

Jazida is a queer and culturally diverse dancer, choreographer, teacher, and producer who is recognised as one of Australia’s key burlesque industry figures. Their production company, JazidaProductions regularly puts on sold out shows and her alternate performing arts hub, Flazéda, runs artist development programs, and provides scholarship opportunities.

They were in the top 50 most influential people in the burlesque industry globally three years in a row and her production company (Jazida Productions) won the Canberra Local Business Awards for Outstanding Performing Arts, and her two solo theatre burlesque shows are both award-winning.
