Award winning folk fusion duo JC and the Tree writes about the mountains to the sea and life between. Fans describe their style as intricate yet accessible.
Featuring violin, vocal harmonies, keyboard and self hand-made acoustic guitars. This duo takes audiences on a journey through genres including folk-rock, singer-songwriter and rock with touches of gypsy and funk. Music is a language beyond words and JC and the Tree are inspired to use it as a tool to bring all walks of life together.
Motivated by their love of nature they have gone to great lengths to offer ethical and sustainable sourced merchandise. Previous festival appearances include Woodford, Airlie Beach festival, Caloundra music festival, Yackandandah Folk festival and many more while founding member JC has a rich touring history nationally and internally prior to founding JC & the Tree performing at festivals such as Glastonbury, WOMAD, Bluesfest, Splendour & Port Fairy.
