JC and the Tree and Jack Raymond are coming together for a special night of music in Tumut — two acts with different styles but a shared love for honest storytelling and great songs.

JC and the Tree hail from the Sunshine Coast and create folk-rock fusion that feels both intricate and easy to listen to. Their music is filled with soaring violin, rich harmonies, piano, and hand-built acoustic guitars. Inspired by life and nature, their songs take you on a journey through folk, roots, rock, and a little bit of gypsy and funk. They’ve toured festivals like Woodford and Glastonbury, and are passionate about making eco-friendly, sustainable merchandise.

Jack Raymond is a storyteller from the mountains of Victoria, now based by the ocean in Noosa. His sound is rugged and raw — a mix of blues and folk with a voice that feels like a warm campfire on a cold night. Jack’s music is inspired by his travels and the characters he’s met along the way. He’s played big festivals like Woodford and Tamworth, and has a knack for making every live show feel personal and full of heart.
