Located just 13 km upstream from Tumut, Blowering Dam offers the perfect place to take in the enormity of the Snowy Hydro Scheme and the beauty of the region.

Standing on the 114 metre high dam wall provides the perfect vantage point to experience the valley and forest views back towards Tumut and South across the dam, surrounded by the Kosciuszko National Park. 

Dotted along the foreshore of the dam are campsites and picnic areas that lead to scenic bushwalking tracks, perfect for making a weekend of your trip to Blowering.

A favourite for water sport and fishing enthusiasts the dam offers boat ramps at each campsite.
